About Us

Make It Personal is a UK-based artisan business creating handcrafted, personalised gifts. We trade as Make It Personal MIP Ltd.

Placing an Order

When you place an order you are doing so in acceptance of these terms and conditions. It is important that you read them carefully before ordering.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are not a minor or otherwise legally incapable of entering into a binding contract
  • The personal details you provide are complete and accurate
  • You are not using a false name or the name of any person or body you are not authorised to represent

Order Confirmation

When an order is placed you will receive a confirmation email to the address provided at checkout, containing details of your order and pricing.

A contract will only come into existence between you and Make It Personal once your order has been processed and dispatched.

Design Proof & Personalisation Approval

All personalised orders will be contacted by email to confirm spelling, names, dates and design details, and to provide a proof for approval before production begins.

Please respond promptly to proof emails. Any delay in your response will delay the start of production and may affect your delivery date. Once you have approved your proof, production will begin immediately and no further changes can be made.

By approving your proof, you accept full responsibility for the accuracy of all personalisation details provided. Make It Personal cannot be held responsible for errors in information supplied by the customer.

Cancellations

As all items are custom made to order and not held as stock, cancellation of an order after placement is not possible under any circumstances. Please ensure you are ready to complete your order before purchasing.

Delivery

You are free to choose from the delivery options available at the time of ordering. Make It Personal assumes no responsibility for damages during transport or delays beyond our control.

Returns & Refunds

As all items are handcrafted and made to order, Make It Personal is unable to accept returns, process refunds or offer exchanges. All sales are final.

If your item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, a photograph of the fault, and a brief description. We will assess each case individually and, where a fault is confirmed on our part, offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion.

Liability

We endeavour to keep the information on this website as accurate as possible but make no warranties, express or implied, regarding its accuracy. We make no warranties regarding matters relating to the use of this website and it is your responsibility to ensure your equipment is protected from viruses and other external factors.

Your rights are protected by the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and other applicable UK consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these terms shall affect your statutory rights.

Make It Personal accepts no liability for any actions relating to purchased products including, but not limited to, accidental or intentional misuse, improper handling, or any accident or injury resulting from those actions. It is your responsibility to exercise safety and common sense when handling any goods purchased.

Severance

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be void, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
